For IF's topic this week 'Poise' I'm submitting this lady, because I think she wears her suit with poise...!
Talking about women with poise... I saw one of my favorite singers, Tina Dico, last Monday night in NY- she performed at an intinmate club in Chelsea and she was fabulous!! Besides the amazing songs, guitar playing, voice, band, she looked fantastic and had an enormous presence.
I'm trying to capture that in a painting- I'll put it up when ready!

I like the rich monotone, and how she's emerging from - or fading into - her surroundings. Great combination of calm and intensity.

I'm a fan of Tina Dico too, but never been fortunate enough to see her live:-( Checked out the painting you did of her- v.nice! really like that city background. Will be back to visit your blog soon :-)
